Critical Reflection
This laboratory activity helped me reflect on what it truly means to become a human services professional. The session made me realize that leadership in this field is not about being in charge, but about being responsible, respectful, and emotionally aware when working with others. It emphasized the importance of professionalism, especially when dealing with individuals who may be vulnerable or in need of support.Through this activity, I also became more aware of the value of being client-centered. I learned that helping should always focus on understanding the client’s perspective, needs, and experiences rather than making assumptions.
