Counseling Demo in the Subject Skills for Helping Professionals

            Our counseling demo in Skills for Helping Professionals was a big step for me, not just academically, but personally. It gave me the chance to actually apply the skills we’ve been learning, and most importantly, to face my fears. I was really nervous, and at one point I even experienced a slight mental block. It felt like I was losing my words one by one, but thankfully, I was able to finish the demo.           What made this experience meaningful was the guidance and support of Ma’am Jover. Her feedback didn’t just help me improve my counseling skills, it also made me realize something deeper about myself. I’ve always struggled with shyness and holding back in class, but when she pointed it out, it became a turning point for me. Campus Tour

 August 6, 2024           While browsing through some old photos, I came across pictures from our campus tour. I remember that day clearly; I was shy, unsure of what to expect, and still adjusting to this new chapter of my life. Everything felt unfamiliar back then.           Looking back now, I realize how much has changed. Things are slowly unfolding, and I’m beginning to find my place. Choosing this course and studying at ISAT U has been a journey of growth, and seeing those early moments reminds me of how far I’ve come. What once felt uncertain is now turning into something meaningful.
